Nobody Googles ‘The Best.’ They Google Exactly What They Need.

Businesses lose the SEO game the moment they try to sound impressive instead of specific. The fix isn't more keywords — it's writing like your actual customer talks.

No titles in the blog post

Nobody Googles “the best.” They Google exactly what they need.

Most small business websites are written to sound impressive: “premium,” “industry-leading,” “excellence in every detail.” Nobody searches for those words. Nobody has ever typed “excellence in electrical services” into Google.

They type what's actually wrong: “emergency electrician Regina,” “24 hour electrician near me,” “why does my breaker keep tripping.” Specific problems, specific locations, specific language.

The fix costs nothing

Write the way your customer actually talks about the problem you solve, not the way you'd describe your own expertise at a networking event. Name your city. Name the specific service, not the category. Answer the exact question someone would ask a friend.

This is the boring, unglamorous half of SEO — and it's the half that actually works for a local business, long before any paid ranking trick does.
